Privacy Policy for PocketVid

Thank you for choosing PocketVid. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience when using our app.

PocketVid is designed with privacy as a core principle. Our core video compression functionality:

• Does NOT collect or transmit your personal information
• Does NOT upload your videos to any server
• Does NOT track your video usage or behavior
• Does NOT share your video data with third parties

All video compression and processing in PocketVid happens locally on your device. Your videos never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share them.

PocketVid requires access to your device's photo library to:

• Read videos for compression
• Save compressed videos back to your library

This access is used solely for providing the app's core functionality and no data is collected or transmitted.

PocketVid may temporarily store video files in your device's local storage during the compression process. These temporary files are automatically deleted once compression is complete and the result is saved to your photo library.

PocketVid includes third-party advertising to support our free service. Our advertising partners may use technologies such as cookies and device identifiers (including Apple's Identifier for Advertisers or IDFA) to collect information about your device and show relevant advertisements.

Data Collected by Advertising Partners

Our advertising partners may collect:

• Device identifiers (such as IDFA)
• IP address
• General location information (not precise)
• Technical information about your device
• Ad interaction data

This information is used solely to provide more relevant advertisements within our app and measure ad performance. We do not combine this information with your video data or use it for any other purpose.

Your Choices

You can limit ad tracking on your iOS device:

1. 1Go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking
2. 2Toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

When prompted by our app to allow tracking, you can choose "Ask App Not to Track" without affecting the core functionality of PocketVid.

PocketVid integrates with third-party advertising services. These services are governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob

Our app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no personal information to access, modify, or delete. Your content remains entirely under your control.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on our website and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
